A busy few months…
So over the next few months as the winter turns to spring and then summer, I find myself at a quandary as to how I’m going to spend the next few months with the slew of A-List video games coming out… Gears of War 3, Assassins Creed: Revelations, Deus Ex 3, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Batman: Arkham City, Diablo 3 Beta (wishful thinking, i know)… All these games are threatening to put my social life on hold… AGAIN!
Yes, I like to play video games… But at the same time, I hate playing video games on a sunny day when so many other things can be accomplished… When I sit down and play games on a warm sunny day I feel guilty and would much prefer to fire up (and chuck a shrimp on) the bbq or go to the local beer garden and have a few cold ones. I don’t really have a point per-say, just annoyed that I am going to have to feel guilty playing the games I’ve been waiting and anticipating for the better part of the year…

So I finally got my Mototrola XOOM! Apart from a couple of minor glitches with the software, I now have it running perfectly and is an awesome replacement for my laptop when sitting in the couch watching tv…

Its that time of year when the tax man puts his dick back in his pants and refrains from fucking most taxpayers and finally leave some money on the fridge. Yes, its tax return time!
I'M RICH BIATCH!....
Now comes the tough decision on what to spend the glorious refund that’s headed my way… I could be sensible and pay bills or save it, but there is no fun in that.. Its not often you get a lump sum of cash to blast on something you have really wanted, after all, you did work hard for the money (so hard for the money).
I have narrowed the list down, but, it’s still a bit of a tough decision. Do I buy 1 item that I really want and sacrifice the others? Or do I delegate the funds accordingly and compromise? ITS TEARING ME APART (LISA!!!)!
Basically my list comprises of the following:
- Canon 550d DSLR
- Apple Macbook Pro
- Coilovers and bits n bobs for my car
or, compromise:
- 2nd hand Macbook & coilovers for car
Ok, so I only really have 1 compromise, but it’s a tough one because I the macbook and DSLR are 2 things i have wanted for a while now, but I won’t be able to afford them both… So I suppose it comes down to what I would get more use out of and would be more worth while.
Or, I could just piss it all up the wall and go on a massive bender…

Looks like I spoke too soon… My PC has fallen in a heap again, both spare hard drives I have are completely knackered… Oh well, looks like I have to wait till pay day to (hopefully) get a new HDD and fix the fucking thing!

FINALLY!!
After a week of different troubleshooting I have finally managed to get my desktop PC back up and running… The one thing that has annoyed me the most is that I fixed it by doing something I should have right at the beginning, but leaving to the end and feeling like an idiot when it all worked…
All I wanted to do was play TF2, and it resulted in a week of anger…
I can finally play TF2…
This makes me happy.
